Our Golden Reunion in August of 2007 has come and gone. But that doesn’t mean the end of making updates to your information here in the Classmates section. If you haven’t sent us your “now” photo or personal bio you can still do it by sending it to one of our talented web masters, Kay Jernigan Watson or Rossanna Hamilton Hays. For those of you who want to add or update any of your information, please send that information as well. Your classmates would love to read about what’s happening in your life.

Occupation: Retired from Union
Pacific Railroad - 38 yrs Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 Spouse's Name: Hope Exp/Degree: BBA - University of Texas at El Paso '72 Plans for the Future: After renewing acquaintances of classmates, to keep in touch. Occupation/Employer/Military Service: After graduating in '57, attended Eastern New Mexico University for 2 1/2 years, in the U. S. Army for 3 years, started working for Southern Pacific Railroad in 1963, retiring in 2002 from Union Pacific Railroad. In the 38 years of service, we moved 14 times, and bought 7 houses, living in New Mexico, Texas and Arizona. While working in El Paso, attended UTEP, receiving my degree in 1972. From Steve: My wife, Hope, and I have been blessed with three wonderful children and 8 lovely grandchildren (5 girls and 3 boys - oldest 18 and youngest 1 year). Hope enjoyed a career as a Certified Legal Assistant and worked where I was located in my transfers with the Railroad. Basically, we left home and the kids stayed home because after living in Tucson, I got transfered and Terri, Tim and Garret stayed in Tucson where the three graduated from University of Arizona (and all I got was the T-shirt). After retiring from the Railroad, we returned to Tucson. The three children have wonderful, successful careers and all live in Tucson. They also have mountain homes in Pinetop/Showlow areas (Northern Arizona), which allows Hope and I to enjoy the White Mountains in the summer time and winters in the Tucson sunshine. This is the best of both worlds. |
